In Brief
ABOUT ONE:
The International Magazine Connection to CahnersBoston Worldwide
Is dedicated to the talented people who worked for Cahners Publishing.
The commitment to excellence that these people gave thoughout the history of the company is beyond the scope of most for over 50 years.
Although some have left us, a lot of us are still here in many different fields.
The "ONE" family we call Cahners is still here even though we are not sitting next to each other.
I hope through "ONE " we can exchange memories through pictures, words and videos.
God Bless all of us.

The World around us with My point of view
Reunion #1
Voices from the past,
and from the present
all brought together
by the net.
A joyous gathering;
some not heard from for many years
creative, jovial
a close knit family who honors
friendship and work
brought together... forever
by a place called Cahners.

In
Memoriam
William G. (Bill) Stevens II
On October 14, We lost one of the nicest guys that I had the pleasure to have ever known. I never remember hearing any of the exCahns say a bad thing about Bill, who was always a consumate professional with a big heart.
I met Bill when he joined Cahners back in 1987 when he took over for Janice Walker as HR Manager.
Bill is by far the nicest person I've ever met working in any capacity, Human Resources or not, because I believe he understood all about the rules of corporate America but believed that people came first which made a stronger company not a nameless, faceless corporation.
Bill was one of the first people to support my idea of getting CahnersBoston Worldwide together and getting exCahns who haven't see or heard from each other in 13 or more years via Facebook, later Our Virtual ReUnion and then The ONE Magazine, always willing to contribute and give opinions.
I hope to see you on the otherside my friend.
PS
Thank You Bill for the poem you wrote for the ReUnion back a few months ago
