Cover Story

The picture of Dick holding Anne's picture in his sleep was the inspiration for Anne's webzine cover.

The original cover was photographed by Chris Lewis from the Art department for Datamation Magazine in 1985.

Life with Dick

I've put together this webzine in honor of my friend Anne Benedetto who I have known since 1983. Although she said she met me years before Cahners at The Surf Club at Nantasket Beach back in the 1970's.

(She was probably right she usually was).

Anne and I had two things in common that happened early in life that shaped us a different way than most kids. She lost her mother at age 4 and lived with her aunt and uncle. I lost my mother at 7 and also lived with my aunt and uncle.

I hope in the following pages (that dates back to her early childhood) I can give all of you an insight to the Anne we all knew and loved.

I am also including some childhood memories written by her long  time friend Jean Mason.

Also included are pictures with her Cahners friends, some of her stories in her own words that she wrote about childhood and some of the icons of Cahners.

Also, I am including how she met the love her life Dick which includes a video I put together for Anne and Dick.

In the final years, her and Dick lived at a place called Flori de Leon in Tampa where they met and enjoyed many good friends, so I created a section dedicated to them  called Flori.

And finally, after she left  Cahners to create their own business in Tampa and then her final pictures with Cahners friends.

I hope you enjoy,
